GTA Online: Los Santos Drug Wars DLC Update Release Time & Date – DualShockers

Coming to PlayStation, Xbox, and PC on December 13th.
Los Santos Drug Wars, the next major content update for GTA Online, was confirmed by Rockstar Games last week and will be released for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on Tuesday, December 13th at 3AM PT / 6AM ET / 11AM GMT.
The DLC expansion for GTA Online will be completely free-to-play, and will simply require players to download a new patch update at the aforementioned time to jump into all of the new content Los Santos Drug Wars has to offer. According to Rockstar, the update will be the first of an "expansive new two-part story update for GTA Online". Exactly when the second chapter of the update will be released has yet to be confirmed, but it's highly unlikely to be before the end of the year.

Not only is the new update set to introduce a range of new gameplay improvements, events, vehicles, and more, but GTA+ members will also receive some exclusive benefits when Los Santos Drug Wars releases later this week. According to the studio's latest newswire post, GTA+ members will "enjoy an all new event period filled with exclusive benefits, including special perks in Los Santos Drug Wars".
As part of the exclusive GTA+ benefits in Los Santos Drug Wars, subscribers of the monthly service will receive 1.5X GTA$ and RP during the new missions included in the DLC, as well as the ability to install the new acid lab for free, something non-subscribers will have to pay for. The acid lab will also have a 50% production speed boost through the membership event period.
Rockstar states that there is also new and exclusive festive apparel coming with the new GTA+ membership event period, which begins on December 13th with the launch of the new GTA Online DLC, Los Santos Drug Wars. Don't worry if you're not a member though, as there's still plenty of new content arriving in the new update.
