Leavenworth County recovers vehicles, weapons, drugs during search in Bonner Springs – The Mirror

Law enforcement officials recovered vehicles, weapons and drugs Wednesday from a Bonner Springs residence.
Leavenworth County Sheriff’s office served a search about 8:15 a.m. Wednesday in the 16000 block of 174th Street, Bonner Springs, according to a release from Undersheriff Jim Sherley.
The warrant was for narcotics weapons and stolen property at the residence.
During the investigation, detectives recovered three stolen trucks, one Dodge Challenger, one Harley Davidson motorcycle and two trailers. They also recovered numerous weapons, high capacity magazines of ammunition and thousands of rounds of ammunition to include weapons with removed serial numbers.
Illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia also were recovered during the investigation.
Three men with ties to the residence were arrested, Sherley said.
Several agencies assisted the Leavenworth County Sheriff’s office with the search and investigation: DEA, Kansas Highway Patrol and Shawnee and Overland Park police departments.
