Man Arrested For Drugs Following Reported Altercation With Gun, Cops Say – –

A Penndel Borough man is facing drug charges after police were called for a report of an alteration.
On Monday, September 26 around 5:40 p.m., Penndel Borough police were dispatched to the Mill Creek Village Apartments on East Lincoln Highway for the report of an armed person, police said.
There was alleged to be an altercation and a handgun was displayed to the person who called 9-1-1, police said.

While police were investigating, officers spotted a man who matched the description from the 9-1-1 caller, police said.
“While speaking with that subject, officers could see a bulge in the pouch of the hoodie that the subject was wearing,” police said in a Sunday statement.
As officers were speaking with the man, he refused to listen to their orders and resisted when they worked to put him in handcuffs, police said.
After being detained, the man – identified as Brian D. Lockhart, 21 – was spotted to have a bulge in the pouch of his hoodie, police said.
No weapon was located on Lockhart, but he had a “large amount” of suspected marijuana on him, police said.

Lockhart was charged with manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver; possession of a controlled substance; and use/possession of drug paraphernalia. Lockhart was preliminarily arraigned and bail was set at $100,000 unsecured.
