Police: 22-Year-Old Lincoln County Woman Arrested For Trafficking Drugs – WCCB Charlotte

MAIDEN, N.C. — A 22-year-old Lincoln County woman was arrested on Monday after officers found a trafficking amount of Opium/Heroin in her car.
On April 4th, officers attempted to make a traffic stop on South Main Avenue in Maiden for a headlight violation.
Police say the suspect vehicle, driven by Madison Winslow, 22, of Lincolnton, N.C., failed to stop for the blue lights and siren and continued driving onto E. Holly Street where officers were able to overtake the car and stop it.

After locating a trafficking quantity of Opium/Heroin in her car, officers arrested Winslow and took her to the Catawba County Detention Center.
Winslow was taken before a Catawba County Magistrate who set a secured bond of $10,000 on the Felony Trafficking Opium/Heroin, Fail to Stop for Blue Light and Siren, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia charges, according to a news release.
Police say Winslow appeared in court on April 5th.
