368 nabbed, illegal drugs worth over P1.4M seized in Central Luzon – INQUIRER.net

OLONGAPO CITY––At least 368 people were arrested while more than P1.4 million worth of illegal drugs were seized in weeklong police operations in Central Luzon, authorities said Tuesday, April 5.
In a report, the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) said 138 of those arrested had outstanding warrants, while 118 were nabbed for illegal drugs.

PRO3 said 106 were arrested for illegal gambling, while six for other violations.
The arrests were made from March 28 to April 4, it said.
During the same period, 289 sachets containing alleged “shabu” (crystal meth) worth P1.4 million and 17 sachets of marijuana worth P240,000 were seized from the drug suspects.
The police also confiscated P47,177 bet money after raiding venues holding illegal gambling.
