Driver on drugs crashed into pole w/4 kids in SUV, police say – FOX19

CINCINNATI (WXIX) – A Loveland woman is accused of being under the influence of drugs when her SUV crashed into a telephone pole with four young children inside.
Norwood police wrote in court records they arrested Shannon McIntosh on multiple charges Saturday shortly after she fled the crash on Sherman Avenue, court records show.
The children are 4, 6, 10 and 12, according to her criminal complaints.
McIntosh is listed in court records as the parent or guardian of all four juveniles.
Police said they also found her with a cut straw with residue and a marijuana pipe.
In all, McIntosh is charged with four counts of endangering children, two counts of illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia and one count each of OVI, failing to stop after an accident and failure to maintain reasonable control.
She is held without bond at the Hamilton County jail and is scheduled to make her first court appearance in the case at 9 a.m. Monday.
