Stolen car, drugs found at motel

The discovery of a stolen vehicle at a Leavenworth motel led to a woman’s arrest for alleged drug crimes, according to an official with the Sheriff’s Office.
Members of the Leavenworth County Sheriff’s Office located a stolen Honda Civic at about 5 a.m. Tuesday in the parking lot of a motel in the 300 block of Montana Court.
Members of the Sheriff’s Office served search warrants at a motel room. This resulted in the arrest of a 32-year-old woman for allegations of possession of methamphetamine, heroin, fentanyl and drug paraphernalia. Keys for the stolen vehicle also were recovered, according to Leavenworth County Undersheriff Jim Sherley.
