BEXAR COUNTY, Texas – Photos posted to Instagram led police to two teenagers who had handguns, a high-powered pistol, cocaine, hash oil, marijuana, and thousands in cash, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post that they were tipped off on Tuesday that David Anakin Guerra, 17, was posting on social media to be in possession of THC cartridges, weapons, and cash.
BCSO Covert, Intel, and Street Crimes Units began their investigation regarding the activity that was reportedly posted to Instagram. BCSO found Guerra and pulled him over for a traffic stop. During that stop, deputies said they found hash oil, a loaded handgun, and cash.
Both David Guerra and a passenger, Ezra Guerra, 21, were detained following the execution of a search warrant of their residence. During the execution of the search warrant for their residence in the 8900 block of Raywood, deputies said they discovered two handguns, a high-powered pistol, cocaine, hash oil, marijuana, and $15,000.
Authorities booked Guerra into the Bexar County Jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance of one to four grams, a third-degree felony, reckless conduct-traffic. a Class B misdemeanor, and unlawfully carrying of a weapon, a Class A misdemeanor.
Ezra Sebastian Guerra, 21, was booked into the Bexar County Jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver one to four grams, a second-degree felony, and possession of marijuana four ounces to five pounds, a state jail felony.
