Drug abuse, State Road: On Feb. 23, police were dispatched to a State Road address regarding a disturbance.
An arriving officer located the suspect, who it turned out was in possession of felony drugs. The Cleveland man was arrested for drug abuse.
Fleeing, Tiedeman Road: During a Feb. 21 traffic stop of a Kia on Tiedeman Road for an equipment violation, the driver refused to stop.
The officer was unable to pull over the male driver who had a female passenger. There are no suspects. Police are investigating.
Theft, Broadview Road: On Feb. 21, police were dispatched to a Broadview Road address after a resident discovered someone cut away their Ford Fleetwood Flair’s catalytic converter.
The vehicle was in the parking lot. There are no suspects. Police are investigating.
Drug abuse, Brookpark Road: On Feb. 22, police were dispatched to a Brookpark Road CVS parking lot regarding a suspicious woman sitting in her vehicle.
An arriving officer located the Newburg Heights driver, who it turned out was in possession of suspected felony drugs. She was arrested for drug abuse.
Theft, Broadview Road: On Feb. 22, a Broadview Road resident called police after discovering their Mitsubishi Outlander was missing its catalytic converter.
The vehicle was in the parking lot. There are no suspects. Police are investigating.
Drug abuse, Ridge Road: During a Feb. 23 traffic stop of a Ford Fusion on Ridge Road for an equipment violation, police discovered the Parma man was in possession of suspected felony drugs.
He was arrested for drug abuse.
Theft, Westlake Avenue: On Feb. 23, a Westlake Avenue resident called police after discovering someone removed items from a Hyundai Sonata parked in the driveway.
There are no suspects. Police are investigating.
Weapons, Broadview Road: During a Feb. 23 traffic stop of a Mitsubishi Mirage for an equipment violation on Broadview Road, police discovered a Cleveland woman was a possession of a hand gun.
The driver did receive a weapons charge.
