Over 1,000 law offenders nabbed, P2M illegal drugs seized in Central Luzon – INQUIRER.net

OLONGAPO CITY––At least 1,015 people were arrested in Central Luzon during a weeklong police operation from Feb. 22 to 28.
In a statement Thursday, the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) said 285 of those arrested had outstanding warrants of arrest for various crimes, while 71 others were tagged as most wanted persons.

PRO3 said 363 were held for illegal gambling and the rest for other violations.
At least 22 illegal firearms, 280 grams of shabu worth P1.9 million, and 3,994 grams of marijuana worth P479,386 were also seized during the same period.
