The Seymour Police Department in Indiana is mourning the loss of a beloved member of the team.
According to a Facebook post, Ace the K9 had to retire a few years back due to health complications, but previously, served the community proudly.
They said he consistently displayed “the utmost tenacity and courage.”
Officers would say that when he came to the scene, they were relieved. And apparently, he is responsible for taking an “enormous” amount of narcotics off the streets.
“Rest easy, buddy. You were the best boy,” the post says.
