PARKERSBURG — Three people are facing charges for allegedly selling drugs in the area after they were arrested last month.
Law enforcement conducted a traffic stop on Division Street in south Parkersburg on Feb. 19 and it led to the arrest of Richard Casey Collins, 28, 2803 11th Ave., Vienna, and Sierra Rae Anderson, 24, 1603 Covert St. Apt. 2, Parkersburg, according to a criminal complaint filed with the Wood County Magistrate Court.
Officers searched the vehicle and found about 15 grams of fentanyl in a backpack, which the complaint said belonged to Collins. Collins was also found with straight cut fentanyl on his person, the complaint said.
Anderson was a passenger and dispatch told law enforcement she had an active warrant, the complaint said. She was taken to the holding center and she had a combined 7.4 grams of drugs on her person, according to the complaint.
Collins is being charged with possession of fentanyl and three counts of possession of a controlled substance and was released on a $53,000 surety bond. Anderson is being charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver and transporting controlled substances in jail and was being held at North Central Regional Jail on a $100,000 surety bond.
Jessica Dawn Judge, 37, 59 Shiloh Road, Waverly, was arrested Feb. 18 after a separate incident involving drug possession, according to a criminal complaint.
A trooper with the West Virginia State Police responded to Shiloh Road to follow up on a breaking and entering investigation and found the vehicle connected with the investigation, which Judge was driving, the complaint said.
The trooper saw a male suspect jump from the passenger side window and flee the scene, the complaint said. They initiated a traffic stop and as Judge got out of the car, “numerous items of drug paraphernalia fell to the pavement,” the complaint said.
She had heroin and methamphetamine in her possession and the complaint said she had a 2-year-old in the back seat of the vehicle.
“Judge advised the illegal substances actually belonged to (the male suspect), however, they both consume drugs together. Additionally, Judge advised she smoked heroin this morning at approximately (7 a.m.) and smokes heroin daily,” the complaint said.
Judge is being charged with driving under the influence, a habitual user, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and conspiracy to commit a misdemeanor and was released on a $2,000 surety bond.
