Wilmington, DE- Delaware State Police arrested Jamar Rogers, 33, of Wilmington, on multiple criminal charges after a several month-long drug investigation.
On February 23, 2022, at approximately 1:00 p.m., troopers observed Jamar Rogers exiting a residence and entering his 2010 Nissan Maxima in the unit block of Pike Creek Road. As troopers attempted to detain Rogers for the pending search warrant execution, he tried to flee in his vehicle but could not due to troopers surrounding the car. Rogers refused to obey troopers’ commands to exit the car and resisted arrest. He was taken into custody after a brief struggle.
A search of Roger’s person and Maxima was conducted, and approximately 845 bags of heroin packaged for sale were located. Additionally, a search warrant conducted at Rogers’ residence resulted in an additional 1,155 bags of heroin, drug paraphernalia, and approximately 580.36 grams of Marijuana. In total, approximately 13.789 grams of heroin was recovered.
Jamar Rogers was transported to Delaware State Police Troop 6, where he was charged with the following crimes:
Rogers was arraigned in the Justice of the Peace Court #2 and committed to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on a $36,650.00 cash bail.
