Dover man charged after police find gun stolen from DSP, drugs in his home – 47abc – WMDT

DOVER, Del. – 42-year-old Thomas Bailey is facing multiple charges after being arrested Friday.
Police say officers obtained a search warrant for Bailey’s home in the Unit Block of Pine Valley Drive. When officers tried to execute the warrant, Bailey was seen hiding something on a second floor balcony before going back inside. Bailey eventually came out of the home, and was arrested without incident.
On that balcony, officers found a loaded handgun, which was reported stolen from Delaware State Police Troop 3. Police also found 8.6 grams of marijuana in the home.
Bailey was  charged with three counts of possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. He is also charged with tampering with physical evidence, and possession of marijuana. Bailey’s bond information is not available at this time.
