OLONGAPO CITY — A total of 610 people facing various offenses were arrested and more than P13 million worth of illegal drugs were confiscated during a weeklong anti-criminality operation by policemen in Central Luzon.
In a statement on Wednesday, Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) said most of the arrested individuals had outstanding warrants of arrest and some were allegedly involved in the trade of illegal drugs in the region.

Between February 5 and 11, police managed to recover 479 grams of “shabu” (crystal meth) worth P3.2 million and 87,700 grams of marijuana worth P10.5 million.
Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay, PRO3 director, said they are continuously conducting intensified operations to go after drug traders and other criminals in the region.
