WARREN — A home in the 2900 block of Linda Drive NW was raided Tuesday morning, and officers from the Warren police Street Crimes Unit recovered items, including cash and suspected drugs.
The inhabitants of the home, who were not identified, were released pending results from the laboratory tests on the suspected drugs. Detectives stated in a social media post made shortly after 9 a.m. that they will be continuing their investigation.
The unit recovered more than $16,000 in cash, 150 grams of suspected heroin and fentanyl, 10 grams of suspected crack cocaine, drug packaging materials, a handgun with extended magazine and equipment identified with a drug operation. Investigators said the execution of the search warrant culminated a several-month investigation.
“We would like to thank the citizens of Warren for their continued support,” the police social media post concluded.
