LANSING – Police said they seized more than 2½ pounds of methamphetamine and sizeable quantities of three other illegal drugs from a Lansing residence on Tuesday.
Detectives from the Tri-County Metro Narcotics Team and Southwest Enforcement Narcotics Team went to the home looking for a federal fugitive and executed a search warrant, Michigan State Police said in a news release.
The fugitive was not there, but detectives found 2.6 pounds of crystal meth, nearly 1½ pounds of marijuana, 130 oxycontin pills and 540 ecstasy pills. MSP said. They also found three guns and nearly $5,000 cash.
One person was arrested, they said.
State police did not specify where in the city the residence is located.
Lansing police and MSP’s Emergency Support and Hometown Security teams helped with the search.
